Invites even greater special-interest spending in Missouri’s initiative-petition process. By making voter-approved initiatives substantially harder for the legislature to later change, Amendment 6 could increase the incentive for well-funded national organizations and outside interests to use Missouri’s ballot process to pursue major constitutional and statutory changes—including issues involving gun policy, parental rights, taxation, labor policy, and other contentious issues.

WHILE OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE AWARENESS REGARDING UPCOMING ELECTIONS, WE ALSO WISH TO GIVE BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY. THROUGH OUR EFFORTS IN RECENT MONTHS, THE ADAIR COUNTY REPUBLICANS HAVE ASSISTED WITH RAISING FUNDS FOR OUR LOCAL SB40 SENSORY ROOM AND ASSISTING WITH KV LIGHTS AROUND THE ADAIR COUNTY COURTHOUSE. OUR GOAL IS TO IMPLEMENT A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
